Logitech, well known for its great reputation in providing peripherals for the computer world, considers the Logitech ClearChat USB headset as the utilitarian answer to all sound needs in your home electronics world. It works with music, games, and VOIP and on both the Mac and the PC.
In true Logitech style, The Logitech ClearChat is incredibly easy to use. All you need to do is plug the USB dongle into a USB port and the Logitech ClearChat wireless replaces any speakers that are also attached to the system. As soon as you turn on the Logitech ClearChat pc wireless headset, you’re ready to play or listen or both.
One Logitech ClearChat review said, “The sound and the mic both are sharp, crisp and clear. … And the price that I paid for it is just right! The headset’s manufacturer is definitely my favorite computer accessory company to buy from.” This was encouraging because this is how I feel about the company and the product. However, not all Logitech ClearChat reviews were as complimentary.
A couple of the negative statements were about the hassle of switching from headset to speakers and back again – which was not my experience but computers do differ. Another issue that people complained about was the microphone, which did not pick up their voice the way that they wanted it to be picked up. I’ve used it for Skype without any issues at all.

Another nice feature is that while the Logitech ClearChat PC wireless only really works well within 20-25 feet, it comes with a long 7-foot USB extension cradle so you can extend the dongle’s range by that much more. For the money, the Logitech ClearChat is a good buy for the quality. Sure you can spend triple that money for something that might be a little higher quality but it certainly would not be triple the quality. The Logitech ClearChat is the value USB headset to buy for Skype and listening to programs on your computer.
